The tour highlights more than 40 landmarks along the beautiful Chicago River, offering close-up views and superb photo ops.

Architecture River Tours currently depart the northeast corner of the Michigan Avenue Bridge and from Polk Bros Park at the southwest corner of Navy Pier.

Spanish-language Architecture River Tours with bi-lingual guides depart several times a week from the Michigan Avenue Bridge with additional tours planned for later in the season. Please check our website for current times and dock locations.

Shoreline Sightseeing joins all of Chicago in welcoming the return of Navy Pier’s summer Fireworks. Shoreline offers two tour options to take in these dazzling displays: a guided,75- 90-minute Architecture River Tour, or the traditional 60-minute Lake Fireworks Tour. Both tours run Wednesday and Saturday evenings May 28 through September 3.

Architecture Fireworks Tours begin with a guided presentation by one of Shoreline’s expert and entertaining guides featuring close-up views of Chicago’s world-famous landmarks lining the Chicago River. The tour ends with viewing of the Navy Pier Fireworks displays. Architecture Fireworks Tours depart from two locations; Polk Bros Park at the southwest corner of Navy Pier and from the northeast corner of the Michigan Avenue Bridge. Wednesday departures are at 8:30 p.m. Saturday departures are at 9:15 p.m.

Lake Fireworks Tours combine a panoramic Lake Michigan cruise with lakeside viewing of the Navy Pier fireworks. Lake Fireworks Tours depart from Shoreline’s dock at the west end of Navy Pier on Wednesday evenings at 8:45 p.m. and on Saturday evenings at 9:30 p.m.

Architecture River Tours and Fireworks Tours depart from both Navy Pier's Polk Bros Park (the park in front of Navy Pier) and the Magnificent Mile (northeast side of the Michigan Avenue Bridge, near the Apple store). Classic Lake Tours depart exclusively from Dock Street on Navy Pier.
