Road trip! Located approximately 50 miles northwest of downtown Chicago and 60 miles southwest of downtown Milwaukee, Volo Museum is an all-day destination the entire family will enjoy. The 75-acre site features diverse attractions like the world-famous Volo Car Museum, Jurassic Gardens with life-like, animatronic dinosaurs, the history-filled Titanic Exhibit, Volo Antique Malls with hundreds of antique dealers, and seasonal train and trolley tours at Volo Station.

The main attraction, Volo Museum, consists of over 45 unique exhibits and over 10,000 mechanical marvels, some that can’t be found anywhere else in the world! While some museums focus on one item, like cars or motorcycles, the Volo Museum takes pride in offering a variety to keep the interest of all our guests. Our visitors enjoy displays that span from a military jet to the Little Mermaid along with our 300-car collection that features special interest cars from the 1900’s and up to the most famous in TV and movie history. The Museum is also the focus of the History Channels TV series “Volo, House of Cars”.

With an on-site pizzeria, ice cream parlor, and mini theaters, it’s easy to spend a full day exploring. Volo Museum is open year-round and weatherproof with climate-controlled buildings.

Jurassic Gardens is Volo's own Jurassic museum! Experience a heart-pounding safari with moving, life-like, animatronic dinosaurs inside of a giant 15,000 square foot atmosphere taking you back more than 65 million years. Kids love unearthing dinosaur skeletons in our dino dig area, panning for their very own dinosaur fossils at our Jurassic mining station, playing games and winning prizes in our Raptor Arcade, and learning about dinosaurs in our dino-lab theater.

If your kids have any energy left they can play on our massive outdoor dinosaur play place or enjoy our brand new dino-themed 9-hole mini golf course, which serves hot and cold snacks, drinks and adult beverages for parents!
