RIVER NORTH
The River North dining, nightlife and art district sits just north of the Chicago River. Bounded by the river to the south and west, Chicago Avenue to the north and Michigan Avenue to the east, this area has something for everyone.
The area includes numerous great restaurants and bars. You'll find a wide variery of dining and entertainment options, ranging from fine dining and casual fare to dance clubs and the House of Blues. If you're looking for lively bars and the best nightlife scene in the area, check out Hubbard Street. The area centered on Ontario and Dearborn Streets has a bit of a "touristy" feel with the Hard Rock Cafe and Rainforest Cafe.
If you're looking for Chicago-style pizza, River North is home to many great deep-dish pizza places including Pizzeria Uno, Pizzeria Due, Pizano's, Girodano's, Gino’s East and Lou Malnati’s.
The northeast portion of the River North area has a more residential feel, but still lively with local establishments. For art lovers, don't miss the River North art district, centered around Wells and Superior Streets.
