Pere Marquette Park
900 N. Plankinton Ave.
Pere Marquette Park, named after the famed French Jesuit missionary and explorer, is a 1.9 acre park that sits directly on the Milwaukee River. It is home to several concerts and events, including River Rhythms (a free outdoor concert series on Wednesday evenings during the summer) and Oktoberfest in the fall. You'll also find sightseeing boat docks along the river.
Pere Marquette Park is a pleasant urban park and a great spot to sit, relax and enjoy the river views.
Directly adjacent to the park in the southwest corner is the Milwaukee County Historical Society, our next stop.
