Continue walking west on Wisconsin Avenue, crossing 4th Street. Directly in front of you is the Wisconsin Center, Milwaukee's convention center.
Opened in 1998, the Wisconsin Center has 188,695 square feet of contiguous exhibit space, with a 37,506 square-foot ballroom and an additional 39,364 square feet of meeting space that can be partitioned into as many as 28 meeting and breakout rooms. The building is architecturally striking and home to a $1.2 million collection of art called the Burke Family Collection.
Also inside the Wisconsin Center is a tourist information area. If open, step inside to take a look.
