400 N. Water St.
You've now returned to the starting point of our tour (although on the other side of the Wisconsin Avenue Bridge). If you've walked enough for the day, this is a good spot to stop. You're at the dividing line between East Town and Westown, with plenty of options at your disposal. Be sure to use eVisitorGuide Milwaukee to find dining, nightlife, museums, attractions and other fun things to do in the city!
For those with a bit more energy, it's worth the approximate 3 block walk south along the RiverWalk to the Milwaukee Public Market and the Historic Third Ward.
Continue south along the RiverWalk, across Michigan Street, Clybourn Street and underneath the I-794 Freeway. Just past the freeway you'll see Milwaukee's popular year-round indoor market called Milwaukee Public Market.
The Milwaukee Public Market is a unique downtown food destination with high-quality selections of Milwaukee specialties, artisan products and freshly prepared foods. You can eat in the Market’s second floor Palm Garden or at many of the vendor's stalls. If you enjoy food, you'll definitely enjoy spending time at the Milwaukee Public Market!
The Milwaukee Public Market is located in Milwaukee's trendy Historic Third Ward. The Third Ward is home to numerous bars, restaurants, galleries, boutiques, coffee shops, theaters and studios. The Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD) is also located here, giving the area a very artsy vibe. If you have the time, the Historic Third Ward is definitely a fun area to stroll and explore.
When done exploring the Historic Third Ward, re-trace your steps back along the RiverWalk to Wisconsin Avenue, the start of our tour.
