Just across the street from 875 N. Michigan Avenue (the former John Hancock Center) is Fourth Presbyterian Church. Completed in 1914, the gothic Fourth Presbyterian Church is the second oldest structure on Michigan Avenue (after the Chicago Water Tower and Pumping Station). The church is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Fourth Presbyterian Churh is an oasis from the hustle-and-bustle of North Michigan Avenue. The church is open daily to the public, so take a peek at the courtyard, artwork and stained glass windows.
